A full <strong>and</strong> mature human life means both agency <strong>and</strong> responsibility — the capacity to<br />
think about <strong>and</strong> question needless suffering, indignity <strong>and</strong> injustice, <strong>and</strong> the commitment<br />
to struggle for change. This exhibit constellates around the <strong>Wayne</strong> State University<br />
collection <strong>of</strong> works by American Social Realist William Gropper (1897-1977).<br />

Hancock, between Cass <strong>and</strong> Second, in Detroit, on the campus <strong>of</strong> <strong>Wayne</strong> State<br />
