Rev. Donald K. <strong>Sinclair</strong> was <strong>the</strong> gre<strong>at</strong>-grandson <strong>of</strong> <strong>Emeline</strong> <strong>Savage</strong> <strong>Sinclair</strong>.<br />

Scope and content:<br />

This collection consists <strong>of</strong> a typescript <strong>of</strong> "<strong>Emeline</strong> <strong>Savage</strong> <strong>Sinclair</strong>: <strong>Her</strong> <strong>Story</strong>," written<br />

by Rev. Donald K. <strong>Sinclair</strong>. According to <strong>the</strong> document, <strong>Emeline</strong> was born near<br />

Norridgewock on May 5, 1812. She died on June 15, 1885. The story is told from


<strong>Emeline</strong>'s perspective, telling <strong>of</strong> her life in <strong>the</strong> Saint John Valley in New Brunswick and<br />

Aroostook County, <strong>Maine</strong>, beginning in 1880.<br />
