hosts celebrations

Day.

THE day before Mother’s Day offered plenty
of fun activities for mothers to get involved in
at the Devonport Community House.
The organisation was running tasters in many
of the activities it has to offer as a finale to
Neighbourhood House Week.
There were displays of belly dancing and
pampering sessions.
Dads and kids were kept occupied with face
painting, sausage sizzles and pancakes.
There was live music and visitors had the
chance to see the new community garden
and shed. The community house does not
just offer childcare but also a range of classes
and activities, such as use of the shed or
belly dancing lessons.
Also at the Neighbourhood House Week celebrations are
