The Spiritual War Against the Woman’s Soul (Part Three)
(Eve, Mother of ALL Living)
During the month of May, we studied three lessons dedicated to spiritual attacks upon women souls on both
Sunday and Wednesday.
• Lesson one (taught 5/5) : The Creation of Womanhood (#1) (Matt.19:3-6)
• Lesson two (taught 5/8) : The Creation of Womanhood (#2) (Rom.1:24-27)
• Lesson three (taught 5/12) : Eve, Mother of ALL Living (Gen.3:20)
• Lesson four (taught 5/15) : Divine design of the woman’s soul (Rom.1:24-27)
• Lesson five (taught 5/19) : The Death of Mary’s First Born (Gen.3:1-6)
• Lesson six (taught 5/22) : Fight the Good Fight (1 Tim.6:12)
We have learned that Eve was not her original name, it was Ishah.
(Gen.2:23) “The man said, ‘This is now bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called
woman (ishah), because she was taken out of man (ish).’”
Ishah is mentioned eleven times in (Gen.3: 1, 2, 6, 8, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 20, and 21). Yet her name was changed to
EVE and became her historical name.
(1 Tim.2:13) “For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve.”
The questions are WHEN and WHY did she receive the name Eve
• It occurred after Adam’s Original Sin (AOS) (Gen.2:17; 3:6).
• It occurred after the pronouncement of the three curses associated with AOS (Gen.3:14-19).
This lesson will study four aspects of Eve, Mother of All Living.
1. She received the name, Eve, at the time of receiving forgiveness and spiritual restoration to God.
(Gen.3:20-21) “Now the man called his wife’s name Eve (chauah), because she was the mother
(em) of all the living (chay). The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed
them.”
(2 Cor.11:3) “But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led
astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. For if one comes and preaches another Jesus
whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a
different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully.’
(Gen.3:20) is a prophecy since she didn’t become a mother until sometime later (Gen.4:1-2).
2. She is mentioned in the prophecy of the curse upon the serpent (satan)
(Gen.3:15) “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed;
He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise Him on the heel.” (John 8:44-47; 1 John 3:7-10)

(Gen.3:15) is a prophecy known as Protoevangelism (first gospel). Paul makes reference to it in
(Rom.16:20), “The God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet.”
3. God designed women to be the carrier of physical life and man to be the transmitter of spiritual death
(Gen.2:17; 3:6, 20).
Mother of all living and father of all dying gave birth to fallen humanity (Rom.5:12-21).
It was decreed by God for EVE to be the Mother of all the living (Gen.3:20).
It was also decreed by God that the Savior of the world would come through the curse of woman and not
through the fall of man (1 Tim.2:15; Gal.3:16; 4:4).
Paul taught three important divine virtues that turn the believer woman’s curse into divine blessing:
(1 Tim.3:15) “But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in (en+loc of
sphere) faith (pistis) [faith cycle] (lsf) and love (agape) [filling of Holy Spirit] (lsf) and sanctity with selfrestraint
(hagiasmos) (lsm) (sophrosune) (gsf).”
4. Paul taught that Eve was the first prophetic believer mother in the lineage of Christ (1 Tim.2:13-15;
Gen.3:15, 20).
Matthew reveals this doctrinal concept in the genealogy of Jesus Christ when he listed five women: (Tamar,
Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba (wife of Uriah), and Mary.
This is an interesting sorority of Gentile and Jewish women believers (Matt.1:1-6, 18). Sarah was also an
important member of this sorority of the messianic lineage (Heb.11:11-12).
The birth of the Last Adam (Jesus Christ) was the end of the messianic genealogy seed (Gal.3:16; Luke
3:23-38; 1 Cor.15:22, 45; John 1:11-13; 1 Pet.1:23; 2 Cor.5:17).
The mother of all living and the father of all dying gave birth to fallen humanity (Rom.5:12-21; 1 Cor.15:22).
(Rom.5:12) “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so
death spread to all men, because all sinned.”
AS CHRISTIAN LADIES, YOU ARE PART OF A GREAT SORORITY OF WOMEN BELIEVERS.
YOU SHOULD CELEBRATE THIS TRUTH IN YOUR LIFE.
