Can I change my Dining<br />

Membership<br />

Please choose <strong>the</strong> appropri<strong>at</strong>e meal plan<br />

based upon your class, work and study<br />

schedule. Meal plans cannot be changed<br />

or refunded and are not transferable.<br />

Do unused meals carry over to <strong>the</strong><br />

following quarter<br />

Yes. Meals and FlexDine Dollars roll over to<br />

<strong>the</strong> following quarter for Voluntary Meal<br />

Plan members, but do not transfer to <strong>the</strong><br />

next academic year. Meal plan and FlexDine<br />

Dollars expire June 11, 2011.<br />

Can I tre<strong>at</strong> a friend using my meal<br />

plan or FlexDine Dollars<br />

Yes. As long as you have sufficient funds in<br />

your meal plan or Zot Bucks account. Door<br />

r<strong>at</strong>e: $6 for breakfast; $9 for lunch/l<strong>at</strong>e<br />

night; $11.25 for dinner.<br />

If you would like to tre<strong>at</strong> a friend with your<br />

voluntary meal plan, you will need to stop by<br />

<strong>the</strong> dining <strong>of</strong>fice to valid<strong>at</strong>e your Student ID.<br />

Wh<strong>at</strong> if I am running low on meals<br />

or Zot Bucks<br />

Simply make a deposit into your account by<br />

cash, check, money order or credit card. You<br />

can check your FlexDine and Zot Bucks<br />

balance online <strong>at</strong> UCIDining.com. To check<br />

your meal balance, just ask <strong>the</strong> cashier next<br />

time you swipe in for a meal. Replenish <strong>at</strong><br />

• While we <strong>of</strong>fer unlimited servings, we encourage you not to take food th<strong>at</strong> will end<br />

up as waste as this results in higher prices and contributes to several environmental<br />

issues.<br />

• <strong>California</strong> Health Laws require th<strong>at</strong> you wear a shirt and shoes in our dining<br />

facilities. For your safety, and <strong>the</strong> safety <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>rs, we do not allow roller sk<strong>at</strong>es,<br />

rollerblades, sk<strong>at</strong>eboards, or scooters in <strong>the</strong> dining facilities.<br />

• In order to keep your dining area clean and provide a pleasant dining experience<br />

for those who will be dining after you, please take your dishes to <strong>the</strong> dish return<br />

area. The dish return <strong>at</strong> Pippin is loc<strong>at</strong>ed to <strong>the</strong> right <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> beverage counter, <strong>at</strong><br />

Mesa Commons near <strong>the</strong> exit and <strong>at</strong> Brandywine Commons behind <strong>the</strong> comment<br />

card wall.<br />

• Guests are welcome <strong>at</strong> Mesa Commons, Pippin, and Brandywine Commons.<br />
