ALPHA 425 THINNERS
DESCRIPTION
Alpha 425 thinners is produced from the highest quality Isopropyl alcohol, which is essential to restore
Alpha soldering chemicals to peak performance.
USE
The solvent system is an important factor in determining the effectiveness of soldering
chemicals. On exposure to air, solvents contained in most soldering chemicals begin to
evaporate, thus changing the physical properties of the original material. Evaporation loss may
adversely affect the surface tension, wetting power and overall quality of the material.
To restore the soldering chemical to its original consistency and maintain maximum product
efficiency, only the recommended compatable thinning materials should be used. The use of
425 thinners with applicable fluxes will reduce the likelihood of icicling and bridging on circuits.
APPLICATION
Information on thinning is given in the Technical Bulletin for each soldering chemical.
