My name is Bookbug and I love books!
This pack is a present from Scottish Book Trust
to you and your family. Inside there are three books
shortlisted for the Scottish Children’s Book Awards.
We need all the boys and girls across Scotland to
vote for their favourite. The book that has the most
votes will win. Ask your teacher or local library about
voting. Remember to vote by 8th February 2013.
Share the books with your family then you can do the
fun activities in this pack together.

Look in the book for:
Torch Ladder Sarah’s bike
Things to talk about:
H How many creature names can you remember from the book
H Can you think of your own creature and make up a name for it
H How would you save Louis
Build a den
Look at all the different places the creatures live. Build a den and
pretend to be one of the creatures. You could use cushions, rugs, sheets,
towels and boxes.
