<strong>IELTS</strong> <strong>Listening</strong> - Expressions which make it easier to spot the answer<br />
Which expressions can be used to show that the thing the speaker last said isn’t actually<br />
so (before or after that thing)?<br />
Listen to your teacher read out part of a typical <strong>IELTS</strong> <strong>Listening</strong> sentence and try to guess<br />
which of the two pieces of information, the first one (A) or another (B), was the answer to<br />
the exam question. If you teacher only says “A”, B would be in the sentence before or after<br />
that one. Hold up the card you guess it must be.<br />
Do the same thing by reading the sentences below.<br />
