ORIENTATION PROGRAMME MAY 2011 INTAKE<br />

The orientation programme is designed to assist new students to make a smooth transition to <strong>Universiti</strong> <strong>Tunku</strong><br />

<strong>Abdul</strong> <strong>Rahman</strong> (UTAR). It involves a variety of activities <strong>and</strong> presentations to introduce you to the faculty, staff <strong>and</strong><br />

facilities, familiarize yourself with UTAR policies <strong>and</strong> expectations, meet senior students, finalise enrolment, ask<br />

questions <strong>and</strong> have fun! Take advantage of these activities, as they have been planned to make your adjustment to<br />

UTAR life as smooth as possible. Remember, success in your studies at UTAR can depend on your adjustment!<br />

To introduce Kampar <strong>and</strong> the Perak Campus. This trip can assist the freshmen to<br />

familiarize <strong>and</strong> adapt to the new surroundings. Besides, Department of Student<br />

Affairs (DSA) staff can provide assistance in looking for accommodation <strong>and</strong><br />

transportation to UTAR. If interested, please register at the Department of<br />

Student Affairs Office.<br />
