About the Institution
Jayaram College of Engineering & Technology
was founded by Gandhi Rural development
Educational Trust , and started on November14 th ,
1994 and is situated 35Kms from Tiruchirappalli on the
Trichy - Thuraiyur road. The faculty of engineering
offers 7 branches of engineering at the UG level,
and 5 streams at the PG level including MCA.
Department of ECE:
The department established to meet the demand for well
qualified elegant ECE professionals. The B.E. (ECE)
was started in the year 1994 with the in-take of 60
students and M.E. (COS) started in the year 2003, with
an annual in-take of 18 students in M.E. At present,
total in-take of ECE department is 90 in UG. The
department got NBA accreditation in the year of 2009
and ISO .9001:2000 Certified. Many meritorious
students successfully completed the course and secured
higher positions in MNCs. Many students are pursuing
their studies such as M.Tech, MBA, M.S & Ph.D
programmes both in India & Abroad. The department
has well qualified and experienced faculty members.
The department has well established laboratory.
About the workshop:
In the field of embedded system World, ARM
Processor is designed with flexible architecture to
support multiple industry–specific peripherals and
interfaces the industry’s leading. Targeted at today’s
complex embedded designs, Smart combination of
ARM and FPGA is innovative, intelligent integration of
the key components of system. “The integration of state
of the art embedded ARM processor with on-chip
peripherals and ability to build custom features in the
uncommitted gate array is an unbeatable combination”.
This workshop will provide opportunity to know the
comprehensive overview of how ARM styled designs
can be implemented along with the FPGA and discuss
how FPGAs can be used as a platform for System-on-
Board design. Live demonstration and hands on session
will provide to the participants on device usage by the
expert instructors.

participants who are seeking to up-grade
their design expertise and knowledge in

fundamentals with hands on training in the
