Summer 2013 – Swim Program Registration for swimmers
who have a disability (and siblings)
Holland Bloorview Aquatic Centre
Priority in our programs is always given to swimmers who have a disability and siblings.
In-person registration for summer swim programs is Wednesday, June 5 th . By
registering in-person, we can ensure that we are able to meet the individual needs of
your child/ren, providing you with safe and productive lessons this summer.
Arrangements for 1:1 support in the water can also be made at this time.
To serve you better, we have created an on-line system that allows you to view program
schedules and costs, track your transactions and print receipts. Setting up your account
before you register in-person will safe you valuable time.
Please follow the steps below:
1. ALL swimmers (new to us or returning) must enter our Summer Lottery by 5:00
p.m. on Friday, May 24 th in order to register for our summer programs. This
link can be found on our website at www.hollandbloorview.ca/swim - click on Red
Cross Swimming Lessons.
2. If you are new to our programs, please visit www.hollandbloorview.ca/swim and
click on the “Register Online” link. From the Online Registration page click on the
“Request Account” button to sign up for your online account. You will receive a
confirmation email and a link – be sure to click on the link to activate your
account!
3. Our Summer schedule (days, times, levels and cost) will be posted by May 17 th
and can be viewed through our online registration page. Click on Register Online”
and scroll down to “View Activities”.
4. Attend the in-person registration session at your assigned time on June 5 th . Please
be prepared to pay for your program (Visa, MasterCard, cheque (payable to
Holland Bloorview), cash or debit). You will be able to view and print your receipt
at any time from your online account.
5. Priority will be given to those who attend on June 5 th . If you are not able to come
to registration, please go to www.hollandbloorview.ca/swim and click on the “I
cannot attend in-person registration” link to view your options. Given the short
timeline we hope that you can attend the in-person registration, or send
someone on your behalf. We may not be able to accommodate all
requests made after June 5 th .

Summer Private Lessons – 3 options:
1. June Private Lessons (June 11 th -21 st ) – registration for this block of private
lessons opens online at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 nd . Please see the
additional information on registration for this block of private lessons on the Private
Lessons page of our website.
2. Summer afternoon private lessons (July & August) – you can register for these
private lessons at the same time, and through the same process, as you would register
for any of our summer lessons.
3. Summer morning private lessons (July & August) – you can register for these
private lessons at the same time, and through the same process, as you would register
for any of our summer lessons.
