Day 1: Brisbane/Singapore<br />
Sunday 10th March<br />
Fly Singapore Airlines to Singapore. Arrive and transfer to<br />
your hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.<br />
Day 2-3: Singapore/Cairo<br />
Monday 11th – Tuesday 12th March<br />
Day at leisure in Singapore. This evening departure transfer<br />
to the airport to board flight to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo<br />
early morning on Day 3, we will be welcomed by our<br />
National Escort and transferred to our hotel for 1 night.<br />
Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel.<br />
DAY 4: Cairo/Aswan<br />
Wednesday 13th March<br />
Morning at leisure. After lunch we visit the Egyptian<br />
Museum with its large collection of ancient monuments,<br />
including the golden treasures of Tutankhamun. Late<br />
afternoon transfer to board train to Aswan. Overnight<br />
1st Class cabin.<br />
DAY 5: Aswan<br />
Thursday 14th March<br />
Early morning arrival at Aswan followed by visit to the<br />
Temple of Isis that was reconstructed on Agilika Island after<br />
construction of the High Dam. We pay a brief visit to Aswan<br />
city and the Aswan High Dam before checking in to our<br />
hotel for 2 nights. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel.<br />
DAY 6: Aswan/Abu Simbel/Aswan<br />
Friday 15th March<br />
After breakfast we drive 280 km to the village of Abu Simbel<br />
at the southern end of Lake Nasser close to the Sudanese<br />
border. After lunch, we visit the main attraction of Abu<br />
Simbel, the Great Temple of Ramses II. This afternoon we<br />
drive back to Aswan. Overnight at hotel in Aswan.<br />
DAY 7: Aswan/Nile Cruise<br />
Saturday 16th March<br />
This morning we board our cruise boat for a 3-night cruise<br />
on the Nile. This afternoon we enjoy a felucca sail around<br />
Elephantine Island to view the Aga Khan Mausoleum and<br />
the Aswan Botanical Gardens en route. Return to cruise<br />
boat. Overnight on cruise boat.<br />
Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon we cross to the east<br />
bank of the Nile to visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor<br />
Temple. Departure transfer to Luxor airport to board flight to<br />
Cairo. On arrival transfer to your hotel for 4 nights.<br />
DAY 11: Cairo<br />
Wednesday 20th March<br />
This morning we tour the Great Pyramids at Giza, one of<br />
the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and The Sphinx.<br />
This afternoon we drive to Memphis, the ancient capital of<br />
Egypt, to visit the necropolis at Saqqara, the Step Pyramid<br />
and the colossal granite statue of Ramses II. Overnight at<br />
hotel in Cairo.<br />
DAY 12: Cairo<br />
Thursday 21st March<br />
This morning we visit Coptic (Christian) Cairo and<br />
Islamic Cairo, including the Salah-El-Din Citadel and<br />
the alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Afternoon at<br />
leisure. Overnight at hotel.<br />
DAY 13: Cairo<br />
Friday 22nd March<br />
After breakfast we transfer to Old Cairo to visit the<br />
Khan El Khalili Bazaar where you can enjoy some free<br />
time to explore. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner.<br />
Overnight at hotel.<br />
DAY 14-15: Cairo/Australia<br />
Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th March<br />
After breakfast, departure transfer to Cairo International<br />
Airport to board flight to Australia via Singapore. Arrive<br />
home the following evening full of wonderful memories of<br />
the land of the pharaohs.<br />

DAY 8: Kom Ombo/Edfu (Nile Cruise)<br />
Sunday 17th March<br />
This morning we sail to Kom Ombo, a Nubian village set in a<br />
rural landscape. After visiting the magnificent Temple of Kom<br />
Ombo, we continue sailing to Edfu, home to the most completely<br />
preserved Egyptian temple. Overnight on cruise boat.<br />
DAY 9: Edfu/Luxor (Nile Cruise)<br />
Monday 18th March<br />
This morning we visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. We<br />
continue sailing via the Esna lock to Luxor. Overnight<br />

Booking Terms & Conditions<br />
Please note: You must read and understand the following terms & conditions<br />
before booking any tours with ASIAQUEST TOURS. Terms & conditions of liability<br />
under which the tour operates are detailed below and the payment of the deposit<br />
or tour cost represents their acceptance by the purchaser.<br />
To Make a Booking: A non refundable deposit of $AUD300.00 per person to<br />
be included with the signed booking form, together with a copy of your passport.<br />
Payments should be made out in the name of ASIAQUEST TOURS.<br />
Final Payment: The balance owing on this tour is to be paid by cheque, cash<br />
or bank cheque made out to ASIAQUEST TOURS at least 65 days prior to the<br />
tour departure date.<br />
Amendment Fees: Any amendment made to the tour itinerary will result in an<br />
amendment fee of $150.00 per person.<br />
International Airfares: This tour will fly with Singapore Airlines departing from<br />
Sydney and Brisbane only and includes all domestic and international airport<br />
taxes and airline fuel levy changers. ASIAQUEST TOURS will not be responsible<br />
for any amendment to the flight itinerary made by the airlines.<br />
Land Only: Land only packages do not include international flights, visa fees<br />
and arrival and departure transfers.<br />
Breaking Journey: Tour costs specified in the brochure are based on passengers<br />
traveling from & returning to Australia as per the set departure & return dates.<br />
Any changes to flight itineraries in Australia or overseas will incur a fee of<br />
$150.00 per person.<br />
Cancellations & Refunds: If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your trip,<br />
the following cancellation charges will apply.<br />
• Cancellation more than 65 days before departure, loss of full deposit.<br />
• Cancellation less than 65 days before departure, 30% of tour cost.<br />
• Cancellation less than 60 days before departure, NO refund.<br />
Please note that a cancellation will only be acknowledged when it is received in<br />
writing to ASIAQUEST TOURS.<br />
Cancellation by ASIAQUEST TOURS: All tour costs are based on a minimum<br />
number of participants required to enable operation of this tour. If this number<br />
is not reached, ASIAQUEST TOURS reserves the right to cancel this tour at any<br />
time. In this case, the amount paid by passengers to ASIAQUEST TOURS will<br />
be fully refunded.<br />
Tour Cost & Duration: The tour cost in this brochure is in Australian dollars and<br />
include tour preparation, operation and marketing costs as of January 2012.<br />
Prices in this brochure are current at the time of printing, and subject to change<br />
without notice. ASIAQUEST TOURS reserves the right to adjust the cost of this<br />
tour in order to take into account exchange rate fluctuations or any changes in<br />
international airport taxes, ground arrangements and/or fuel levy surcharges.<br />
Relevant Travel Documents: All clients must have valid passports with at least 6<br />
months validity remaining after the tour return date. It is required that you send/<br />
deliver a copy of your passport to ASIAQUEST TOURS at time of booking.<br />
Please note that Australian passport holders will require visa for Egypt. Foreign<br />
passport holders may incur an extra cost for arranging visas. You must send/<br />
deliver your passport to ASIAQUEST TOURS 65 days prior to your departure<br />
date, in order for us to arrange relevant visas. Failure to provide your passport<br />
in time may result in delays, returning your final documents back to you. Your<br />
final documents will be mailed to you.<br />
Health & Insurance: It is compulsory for all travelers to be in good physical &<br />
mental health. Some parts of Egypt may not have the facilities to accommodate<br />
wheel chairs or physically challenged clients. A good level of fitness as walking,<br />
boarding, embarking and disembarking coaches, trains and boats, climbing<br />
monument stairs are required at many places. ASIAQUEST TOURS strongly<br />
recommends that you visit your doctor & dentist prior to your departure. It is also<br />
a condition of this tour confirmation that each passenger obtains an appropriate<br />
standard of travel insurance that covers him/her for the duration of the tour<br />
in case of medical injury, illness, death, loss of baggage and personal items,<br />
cancellations & curtailment.<br />
Clients will not be permitted to embark or continue traveling on this tour if, in<br />
the opinion of ASIAQUEST TOURS or any of its representatives, their mental<br />
health or physical condition renders them incapable of caring for themselves<br />
or causes them to be objectionable to other clients or a potential hazard to<br />
themselves or other clients. ASIAQUEST TOURS will not be responsible for<br />
expenses resulting in such persons being precluded from completing the tour<br />
for any such reason.<br />
Share Accommodation: Single travelers have a choice of paying a single<br />
supplement or sharing a room with someone of the same gender. Where a<br />
single client wishes to share accommodation with a fellow single client, we<br />
will make every effort to arrange this. ASIAQUEST TOURS accepts no responsibility<br />
for the suitability of the rooming partner. If at any time during the tour<br />
a client considers their rooming partner to be unsuitable, ASIAQUEST TOURS<br />
will endeavor to arrange a single room AT EXTRA COST, subject to availability<br />
in the same hotel.<br />
Single Supplement: The single supplement component of the cost is specified<br />
for each tour. Please note that whenever an itinerary utilizes overnight train<br />
or boat travel, there is no opportunity for single supplement arrangements.<br />
In should be noted that, in some cases, single rooms are smaller than twin<br />
rooms.<br />
Unused Portion of Tour: Please note that, if for any reasons client cannot or<br />
chooses not to continue the tour for medical/family/personal or any other<br />
reasons, no refunds will be made to the client by ASIAQUEST TOURS for the<br />
unused portion of the tour/journey.<br />
Advice on Overseas Travel: We strongly recommend that, prior to making your<br />
booking, you review & familiarise yourself with the travel advisory service<br />
provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade by visiting their<br />
website (www.smartraveller.gov.au) or by calling 1300 555 135.<br />
Tour Cost: The cost of each tour is based on current international exchange<br />
rates. ASIAQUEST TOURS reserves the right to adjust the cost in order to take<br />
into account exchange fluctuations prior to tour confirmation or any changes in<br />
international airport taxes, ground arrangements and/or fuel levy surcharges.<br />
Possible Changes or Delays: A number of factors may affect our planned<br />
itinerary. While we will make every effort to operate according to plan, ASIA-<br />
QUEST TOURS reserves the right to alter itineraries at short notice in the interest<br />
of the traveler, the local people or the environment. ASIAQUEST TOURS will<br />
not be held responsible for changes to itineraries resulting from actions taken<br />
by international or domestic air carriers, cruise operators or railway operators<br />
for whatever reason.<br />
Special Requirements: Any special requirements must be brought to the attention<br />
of ASIAQUEST TOURS by the client at the time of booking this tour.<br />
Complaints or Claims: In case the client is not satisfied with the tour at any<br />
time, he/she hereby agrees to inform the local guide or tour escort immediately<br />
so prompt action can be taken to resolve the problem. If actions taken by tour<br />
escort or guide still do not result in client satisfaction, the passenger agrees<br />
to contact ASIAQUEST TOURS in Sydney by telephone or fax. If the client is<br />
still not satisfied at the completion of the tour, then he/she agrees to provide<br />
details in writing to ASIAQUEST TOURS within 15 days of returning home.<br />
Law of Contract and Responsibilities: When booking with ASIAQUEST TOURS<br />
I/WE are aware that the proposed tour, in addition to usual inherent dangers<br />
and risks, has certain additional dangers and risks. These may include: physical<br />
exertion for which I/WE may not be prepared, weather extremes subject to<br />
sudden and unexpected changes, remoteness from normal medical and emergency<br />
services and evacuation difficulties. I acknowledge that the enjoyment, excitement<br />
and personal development potential of the proposed tour (being reasons<br />
for my participation) are derived in part from its inherent risks.<br />
I accept all the risks of the proposed tour and the possibility of personal injury,<br />
illness, death, property damage or loss resulting from my participation. I agree<br />
that should I suffer any personal injury, illness, death, property damage or<br />
loss, then ASIAQUEST TOURS or any of its staff may on my behalf and at my<br />
cost, arrange such medical treatment, evacuation or other assistance as they<br />
consider appropriate. I also agree that any liability on ASIAQUEST TOURS is<br />
limited to a maximum tour cost. By entering into this agreement I am not relying<br />
on any oral, written or visual representations or statement by ASIAQUEST<br />
TOURS or its staff & licensors or any other inducement or coercion to participate<br />
in the tour. I confirm that I have read & understood this agreement prior to<br />
signing it. This agreement shall be subjected to the laws of New South Wales<br />
& I submit to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
