INTERSEC IN DUBAI<br />
<strong>FOGTEC</strong> STAND AT TRADE FAIR AND IWMA SEMINAR<br />
Once more <strong>FOGTEC</strong> presented its systems at this Intersec 2013 exhibition from<br />
January 15 to 17 in Dubai, being the largest fire protection venue for the Middle<br />
East region with around 1,000 exhibitors. The increasing interest and acceptance<br />
of water mist technology was visible by the numerous visitors and new contacts to<br />
the <strong>FOGTEC</strong> booth. The participants were keen to get the latest news on both<br />
system developments and successful installations of fixed fire fighting systems in<br />
buildings and industrial facilities, as well as in tunnels and trains. “For us, Intersec<br />
is an excellent opportunity to show our expertise in water mist, and to meet our<br />
local system partner network and potential new clients”, confirmed Ralph Paulwitz,<br />
Business Development Manager International at <strong>FOGTEC</strong>.<br />

A special highlight at this year’s Intersec was the educational IWMA seminar which<br />
was held at the convention centre. Organized by the International Water Mist<br />
Association the main target was to inform about fire-fighting with water mist in<br />
different applications. Rüdiger Kopp, General Manager Fixed Systems at <strong>FOGTEC</strong>,<br />
gave a paper about the recognition of water mist systems in the Middle East<br />
region. A number of experts in the field of fire protection listened to his presentation<br />
and gave a good feedback. “We were very pleased about the respectable<br />
attendance and the discussions showing exceptional interest on our technology”,<br />
Kopp emphasized. The live demonstration with the mobile <strong>FOGTEC</strong> unit gave a<br />
nice impression of water mist properties to the audience.<br />
