The hotel and site have significant potential for development<br />

although no planning consents are in place. Richmond Council has<br />

historically supported hotel development on the site, but we have not<br />

made recent formal enquiries.<br />

RIVER THAMES<br />

An overage provision relating to residential development is in place<br />

with the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. If residential<br />

development of the site is consented before 2031, 50% of the uplift<br />

in value shall be payable to the council. This applies to residential<br />

development only.<br />
