The Christ Hospital Health Network and
Alternate Solutions Healthcare System Enter Joint
Venture to Provide Home Healthcare Services
The Christ Hospital Home Health Care brings quality focus and coordinated approach to
post-acute care
Cincinnati – The Christ Hospital Health Network is entering into a joint venture with Alternate
Solutions Healthcare System (ASHS), a leading provider of high-quality, post-acute healthcare
services for adults, to provide home healthcare services. The partnership becomes effective Aug.
1, 2013, and the program will be called The Christ Hospital Home Health Care.
ASHS designs a continuum of preventive and ongoing home healthcare services for
patients that are implemented in a variety of housing settings to meet a patient’s individualized
needs. Such home healthcare services include: skilled nursing; physical, occupational and speech
therapies; home nursing/health aide; and assistance with care management. These services are
provided to patients in the comfort of their own homes by ASHS’s staff of registered and
licensed nurses, therapists, social workers and home health aides. To provide improved value for
patients, ASHS utilizes an online portal that enables physicians to securely access patient
records, review clinical documentation, interact with home healthcare clinicians and
electronically sign treatment plans.
