The drives of the Performax® series are a milestone in gearhead technology. An innovative (patent<br />

pending) planetary gearhead assembly concept is being used for the first time. Performax® drives<br />

combine high performance and silent running. Compared with other similar specified products on<br />

the market, Performax® gearheads offer a very high power density, and excellent smooth running.<br />

Induction <strong>motors</strong> (1-phase) and three-phase alternating current <strong>motors</strong> provide greater output<br />

power and better efficiency than robust shaded-pole <strong>AC</strong> <strong>motors</strong>. The ball bearings of the output shaft<br />

guarantee a long lifetime.<br />

• noise-optimised helical teeth in the input stage<br />

• planetary wheels and hollow wheel in the first stage made of plastic with<br />

optimised sliding properties for additional noise reduction<br />

• hardened steel planetary wheels running on bearings with zinc diecast spur teeth<br />
