To Our Gentle Giant
Tribute from Brian‘s grandchildren.

Grandad had the kindest
eyes. He walked like a
penguin in disguise, his heart
was proud just like a lion, the
centre of our family, Grandad
Brian.
He always did everything to
support us, took us under his
wing and taught us how to
cherish family and be the best
that we could be.
We will miss him every day his
smiley face, the way he’d say
‘Ello Darlin’ when he saw us and
would move the heavens for us.
A gentle giant, young at heart
Grandad was well-read, an
inspiration and smart and
rather sprightly for his age with
his ipad and Facebook page.
He was an amazing Grandad
this football crazy Fulham lad a
die-hard fan who got his kicks
watching the side from SW6.
Grandad loved the Eastbourne
air and met some lovely people
there always finding common
ground with friends of old and
friends new-found.
He was honest, generous, kind
and fun welcoming to everyone
who joined the close knit
Faulkner clan the family he’d
built with our lovely Nan.
He’s a man we can’t replace his
zest for life; his warm embrace;
his bacci tin; his magic tricks;
his weakness for Ham, Egg and
Chips.
The sight of him on Christmas
day Fulham hat proudly on
display; how he filled our lives
with laughter and always made
us feel looked after.
Now we’ve lost him to the stars
we’re so proud that he was ours
that we shared our lives
together and he will live in us
forever.
With his love we all were
