Mrs. Oladunni Norman O. Laing, of the Department of Architecture has been awarded a Masters in
Research in Educational and Social Research.
Mr. Ernest Opoku of the Quality Assurance and Planning Unit has acquired a Certificate of Elevation as
a Fellow of the Ghana Institute of Management.
Mr. Emma Keteku-Atiemo, a senior Teacher at University Primary School has been awarded a Bachelor
of Education Certificate from the University of Education.
Dr. Richard Kodzo Avuglah, of the Department of Mathematics was officially appointed as a Lecturer
on 14th August 2006.
Mr. Paul Kwadwo Addo, of the Quality Assurance and Planning Unit has been awarded a Certificate of
Education from Ghana Institute of Management.
Miss Juliana Diyang, is now known and recognised by the University as a legal wife of Mr. Lambert
Nakpi, a Senior Teacher at the University Junior High School.
Mr. Ronald Adamptey, of the Department of Planning has been awarded PhD in Development Studies.
Miss Gifty Adjo Abakai, is now known and recognised by the University as the legal wife of Mr. David
Doe, a Campus Guard Grade l at the University Security Services.
Miss Christiana Adwoa Prah, is now known and recognised by the University as the legal wife of Mr.
Seth Godfrey Boahen, a junior Library Assistant Grade lll at School of Medical Sciences.
Mr. Abednego Corletey, of the University Library has been awarded Master Degree from the University
of Ghana.
Mr. Tetteh Isaac Kow, of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Biology has been awarded PhD
degree in Atmospheric Sciences (Climate Science & Meteorology).
RESTORATION OF ALLOWANCE
The salary and allowances of Mr. Arnold Ato Afedzi, Senior Administrative Assistant, Registrar’s Office,
has been restored, effective 13th August 2012.
The salary and allowances of Dr. Isaac Kow Tettey, a Lecturer at the Department of Theoretical and
Applied Biology, has been restored, effective 3rd July, 2012. Dr. Isaac Kow Tettey resumed duty from
Study Leave.
The salary and allowances of Mr. George Adu, a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, has been
restored, effective 4th June, 2012. Mr. George Adu resumed duty from Study Leave.
STOPPAGE OF SALARY
The salary of Mrs. Patricia Kwarteng Frimpong, Senior Nursing Office at the University Hospital has
been stopped with immediate effect. Mrs. Patricia Kwarteng Frimpong died on the 19th September, 2012.
