water demands and uncertain supply reliability,
cooperative regional planning is a
viable solution to meet those challenges.
By working collaboratively, regional partnerships
can enhance water supply reliability,
promote a regional common goal
and add flexibility to water portfolios and
distribution systems.
Regional efforts have contributed to cost
savings and stimulated innovative ideas
and designs in water delivery, quality and
retention. The panel will address cooperative
facility planning, regional storage and
supply options.
