<strong>ANNOUNCEMENT</strong><br />

ANDREAS NEOCLEOUS & CO LLC is pleased to announce the strengthening of its legal<br />

team with the recruitment of the following new lawyers and legal consultants.<br />

<strong>LIMASSOL</strong> <strong>OFFICE</strong><br />

Jacob Kilcoyne-Betts gained a BA Hons from Lady Margaret Hall, University<br />

of Oxford in 1994 (MA Oxon 1999). He then spent several years working in<br />

Moscow managing start-up businesses serving international corporate clients,<br />

including a legal and technical translation business.<br />

He was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Law in 2002. He specialises in<br />

corporate tax and company law advice and he is a senior associate in our tax<br />

department.<br />

Iris Dreimane graduated in Law from the Latvian Judicial Academy in 2005<br />

and she successfully completed a postgraduate course in International Law from<br />

the International Relationship Institute of the University of Latvia.<br />

In 2009 she was awarded a Master’s degree in Management by Westminster<br />

University, London.<br />

She is an associate in our corporate and commercial department.<br />

Christos Floridis graduated in law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in<br />

1997. In 1998, he obtained a DEA degree in International and EU Economic<br />

Relations Law from the University of Paris X and he is currently undertaking a<br />

PhD in International Tax <strong>Co</strong>mpetition from the University of Paris II (Panthéon-<br />

Assas).<br />

He is a specialist in State Aid and was the responsible officer of the National<br />

<strong>Co</strong>mmittee of the French Republic for the notification and the application of<br />

National State Aid in the French departments for the programming period 2007-<br />

2013.<br />

He heads the EU law department of the firm.<br />

Demetris Roti graduated in law from the University of Manchester in 2005 and<br />

successfully completed the Legal Practice <strong>Co</strong>urse in 2006. After his graduation<br />

he joined a leading international law firm in the City of London where he<br />

specialised in employment law.<br />

He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010 and he is an associate in our<br />

corporate and commercial department.


Niki Liassidou graduated in Law from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008<br />

and was awarded an LL.M in <strong>Co</strong>mmercial and Shipping Law in 2009.<br />

She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010 and she is currently an associate in<br />

team four of our litigation department.<br />

Katerina Petrides graduated in Law from the University of Reading in<br />

2007. In 2008, Katerina successfully completed her Legal Practice <strong>Co</strong>urse with<br />

the <strong>Co</strong>llege of Law in London.<br />

She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010 and she is currently an associate in<br />

team one of our litigation department.<br />

Vasileios Psyrras obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Studies<br />

from the University of Piraeus in 2003 and graduated in law in 2007. In 2009 he<br />

successfully completed the Legal Practice <strong>Co</strong>urse at the <strong>Co</strong>llege of Law in<br />

London.<br />

Vasilis has extensive experience in admiralty and shipping law gained in the<br />

course of seagoing experience and four years of shipping practice ashore. He<br />

was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010 and he is currently an associate in our<br />

shipping department.<br />

Niki Ioannou graduated in Law from the University of Hertfordshire in 2007.<br />

She was awarded an LL.M in European and International <strong>Co</strong>mmercial Law by<br />

the University of Kent in 2008.<br />

She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010 and she is currently an associate in<br />

our corporate and commercial department.<br />

Christiana Pyrkotou graduated in law from the University of Leicester in 2007<br />

and gained an LL.M in <strong>Co</strong>rporate Law from University <strong>Co</strong>llege, London in<br />

2008. Christiana was admitted as a barrister of Gray’s Inn in 2009.<br />

She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010 and she is currently an associate in<br />

team three of our litigation department.


Paraskevas Pavlides graduated in law from the University of Nicosia in 2008.<br />

He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010 and he is currently an associate in<br />

team one of our litigation department.<br />

Anastasiia Kareba graduated in International Law from Kiev International<br />

University.<br />

She joined us as a legal consultant in the corporate and commercial department.<br />

Eliana Charalambous obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of<br />

Leicester. She is currently undertaking studies for an LL.M in <strong>Co</strong>rporate<br />

Governance at the University of Manchester.<br />

She joined us as a legal consultant in the corporate and commercial department.<br />

Anna Avakova graduated in law from the Institute of International Governance<br />

of Moscow State University for International Relations in 2005 and she is<br />

currently a <strong>Co</strong>mpetitor for PhD, chair of constitutional law in Moscow State<br />

University for International Relations.<br />

She is currently an associate in our corporate and commercial department.<br />

NICOSIA <strong>OFFICE</strong><br />

Christos Christodoulou graduated in law from Aristotle University of<br />

Thessaloniki in 1997 and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 1998.<br />

He formerly served in the legal team of the Cyprus Supreme <strong>Co</strong>urt and joined us<br />

as an advocate in the litigation department of our Nicosia office.
