GRAMMYS, 2/8, STAPLES CENTER: Part awards show, part
concert, definitely red carpet spectacle – you never know what will
happen at the Grammys. Newcomers Sam Smith, Arianna Grande
and Iggy Azalea will likely perform as will Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams,
Taylor Swift, Jay Z and others.
TONY BENNETT/LADY GAGA, 2/8, THE WILTERN: It’ll
be quite a show at the Wiltern if Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga’s
chart-topping Cheek to Cheek wins the Tradition Pop Vocal Album at
the Grammy Awards earlier that day.
SHAUN WHITE’S AIR + STYLE, 2/21-22, ROSE BOWL:
What started in Beijing as a snowboard competition ends at the Rose
Bowl. Air + Style is literally that: snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding,
BMX, music, fashion, cuisine, gaming and art.
DAME EDNA'S GLORIOUS GOODBYE THROUGH 3/15,
THE AHMANSON: Dame Edna Everage (Barry Humphries) is
capping a career spanning 50 years of bravura showmanship in this
celebratory show. “Dame Edna’s Glorious Goodbye – The Farewell
Tour” will give audiences the chance to bid farewell to the incomparable
Dame Edna, arguably Australia’s greatest entertainment export.
