to determine the shear strength of wood<br />

with a 1.5 in (38mm) overlap which are<br />

placed with the lower portion under the<br />

flat blade. Minor misalignment is compensated<br />

by the semi circular blade. This<br />

parallel-to-grain shear tool complies with<br />

ASTM Methods D143 and D905, and<br />
