<strong>Tinius</strong> <strong>Olsen</strong>'s new <strong>Drop</strong> <strong>Dart</strong> Impact <strong>Tester</strong> is a simple, standalone,<br />
non-instrumented tester, for measuring impact resistance<br />
of film, plastic sheet, and laminated materials.<br />
This <strong>Drop</strong> <strong>Dart</strong> Impact <strong>Tester</strong> is a proven tool for more closely<br />
monitoring nominal and peak strength characteristics; this in<br />
turn enables you to adjust your processes to enhance your:<br />
- Production and additives settings and adjustments<br />
- Research and development of new film and sheet products<br />
- Inspection of incoming film and sheet products<br />
- In-process checks to ensure on-spec product for converting<br />
operations<br />
Key Features<br />
- Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM D1709 A & B,<br />
and BS2782 A & B for falling dart tests.<br />
- Meets or exceeds the requirements of EN 918 for falling cone<br />
tests.<br />
- Cable operated dart release sytem for simple ease of use.<br />
- Four position drop height frame (depending on test type)<br />
- <strong>Dart</strong> holder can be lowered for easier dart loading.
