Dear Parents<br />
Welcome back to a new term.<br />
I hope you have managed to enjoy some time off in what little<br />
sun we had. I’m certainly looking forward to the first sign of<br />
Spring and hopefully the back of the snow!<br />
Its Book Week next week and a letter explaining what we will<br />
be up to will soon be on its way to you. Please don’t forget that<br />
next week is only 4 days as Friday 2nd March is a Staff<br />
Training Day.<br />

YEAR 6 SCHOOL OFFERS<br />
Year 6 school offers will be posted<br />
to parents 1st March <strong>20</strong><strong>12</strong> to arrive<br />
on the 2nd March <strong>20</strong><strong>12</strong>.<br />
BEECH CLASS ASSEMBLY<br />
Beech class assembly is on 9th<br />
March starting at 9am. Parents are<br />
very welcome to come and watch this<br />
assembly.<br />
After the assembly parents are very<br />
welcome to join myself and the Chair<br />
of Governors for tea and biscuits.<br />
SPONSORED SCOOT<br />
I would like to thank all the children<br />
who took part in thee sponsored<br />
scoot event last term.<br />
Oak class were instrumental in<br />
counting the totals and hopefully you<br />
should have had a short letter last<br />
term with the total number of laps<br />
your child achieved.<br />
If you need a new letter please<br />
speak to the office and we’ll send you<br />
a new letter as soon as possible.<br />
Finally please can we have the sponsorship<br />
money in as soon as possible.<br />
All money received will be used by<br />
the school council to pay for a new<br />
kickboard.<br />
KINGSWOOD RESIDENTIAL TRIP<br />
The year 4 residential trip is fast<br />
approaching. I will be completing<br />
various forms about diet and health<br />
needs for the centres information<br />
over the next few weeks. Please keep<br />
an eye out for any forms requesting<br />
information.<br />
INSET DATE CHANGE<br />
2nd March is the next INSET<br />
date. <strong>School</strong> will be closed for<br />
children.<br />
30th March is also an INSET and<br />
school will be closed for children<br />

HOMEWORK CLUB<br />
I’m looking forward to seeing some<br />
children at my homework club. I am<br />
coming back from a meeting so don’t<br />

FRIENDS OF BRENZETT<br />
The Friends of <strong>Brenzett</strong> work incredibly<br />
hard to raise funds for the<br />
children of <strong>Brenzett</strong> <strong>School</strong>.<br />
Each year they support Father<br />
Christmas present operations, they<br />
have helped to purchase reading<br />
books, gym equipment, playground<br />
equipment and much more.<br />
The Friends of <strong>Brenzett</strong> have also<br />
offered children’s events such as<br />
Bingo and Discos.<br />
If you can offer any support or help<br />
with their vital fundraising effort<br />
please contact the office.<br />
KENT CHALLENGE<br />
At the end of last term our Lead<br />
Kent Challenge Advisor and our Kent<br />
Challenge Advisor meet with the<br />
Sally Flack (the Chair of Governors)<br />
and myself.<br />
The meeting was very positive with<br />
the advisors recognizing the progress<br />
and hard work of the staff,<br />
children and governors.<br />
