computer simulations will immerse the student in the life
of a detective and engage and develop problem-solving
skills.

Comparative Anatomy : Get the
Inside Scoop on the Animal Kingdom!
What do you have in common with an earthworm or
a crayfish How do squid reproduce How do starfish
eat What’s inside a shark’s stomach Dissect and learn
about internal and external anatomy and adaptations of
representatives of the animal kingdom. We will study
earthworms, grasshoppers, crayfish, and clams (week 1);
squid, starfish, and sharks (week 2); frogs and fetal pigs
(week 3). Learning, exploration and fun go hand-in-hand
with funny-but-not-quite-as-funny-as-Bill-Nye biologist,
Chuck Buxbaum, PhD.

Explore elements of space through art, educational videos,
songs, worksheets and experiments. A trip to the moon
will be the first stop in our travels, and then we’ll move on
to visit the stars and constellations. Comets, craters and
asteroids (oh my!) are on the horizon along with the
galaxies, including our very own Milky Way Galaxy.
We may even discover a new planet inhabited by alien
beings (hope they’re friendly)! Are you ready to scratch
the surface of what’s beyond Earth Come join the fun and
