The Chairman BSNL CSR Board has mentioned that, Circle CSR Boards should try to spend; the un-spent CSR Fund on or before 30/9/10. No further CSR Funds will be allotted from BSNL.CO.ND for the financial year 2010-2011. Proposals received: A proposal received from `SWEEKAAR REHABILITATION INSTITUTE FOR HANDICAPPLED’, Secunderabad for Tele-rehabilitation of the disabled persons, they are requesting to provide unlimited free band width support, Multi-modal communication support i.e., ISDN (Minimum of 384 kbps), BB Support (minimum 512 kbps) and 3G service support, under Corporate Social Responsibility. Reply: On examination, it is found that, the above proposals are not covered under the existing/new CSR activities/guidelines, mentioned above. Contd..3..
