Tough first game back after the break. Our second half was our strongest,
scoring 80% of our total score. This half also displayed some great passing and
ball movement from our boys. The boys had great spirit, fighting right to the
end.
A magnificent 3 rd Quarter set the boys up for an excellent win against some
very good opposition. The boys placed the opposition under severe pressure
and then ran and looked for one another in a great display of team football.
Goals: Patrick Singleton 2, 1 each to Will Gerard, Jack Read, George Skothos,
Lachlan Watts, Josh Perks and Sam McCutcheon. All played well.
Year 4/5, PAC2 Coach: Anne Melbourne/Will Dalwood
Comment:
Goals: Thomas Worthley 2, Connor Aretzis 2, Mattise Duffield 2, Sam Walsh
1, Bryce Tindall 1.
A strong start to the game with an early lead, only to let St Andrews back in
the 3rd quarter. A renewed want for the ball and an early goal in the 4th
inspired the boys to lift, kicking away for a win. A great team effort.
