<strong>Hugo</strong> <strong>Beck</strong> in Dettingen/Erms near Stuttgart is<br />
one of the world’s leading manufacturers of<br />
film packaging machines and complete packaging<br />
lines with an export quota of more than 70%.<br />
Established in the year 1955 as a mechanical<br />
workshop for swivels, company founder <strong>Hugo</strong> <strong>Beck</strong><br />
soon recognized the significance of special purpose<br />
machines made to the customer’s specifications<br />
and developed early the first packaging and film<br />
packaging machines.<br />
The technological breakthrough for the private<br />
Swabian company came in 1996 with the introduction<br />
of servo technology for the first time in the<br />
construction of packaging machines. <strong>Hugo</strong> <strong>Beck</strong><br />
became a real trailblazer in this branch of the<br />
machine industry and soon started to introduce<br />
innovative trends.<br />
The range of machines was continuously modernized<br />
and extended over the years. It also currently<br />
includes machines for the processing of printed<br />
matters besides the full range for film packaging.
