<strong>MSR</strong>-W <strong>ESM</strong>/<strong>ELINT</strong> <strong>Mobile</strong> <strong>Reconnaissance</strong> <strong>Station</strong><br />
The station is designed for radio-electronic reconnaissance platoons of radio electronic<br />
units of the air force and air defence.<br />
The station is being used for automated identification of radars and equipment mounted<br />
on aircraft or other emission sources (ES) that generate pulse signals within the<br />
frequency band of 0,5 to 18 GHz.<br />
During automated individual operation the <strong>MSR</strong>-W station provides:<br />
emission type identification<br />
ES identification and classification of types of the ES carriers<br />
bearing on ES within the frequency band of 0,5 to 18 Ghz<br />
monitoring of activity and direction tracking of airborne ES<br />
archiving of <strong>ELINT</strong> results for signals analysis and identification<br />
transmission of reports and receipt of operational tasks to and from a higher level of command<br />
