MSR-W ESM/ELINT Mobile Reconnaissance Station
The station is designed for radio-electronic reconnaissance platoons of radio electronic
units of the air force and air defence.
The station is being used for automated identification of radars and equipment mounted
on aircraft or other emission sources (ES) that generate pulse signals within the
frequency band of 0,5 to 18 GHz.
During automated individual operation the MSR-W station provides:
emission type identification
ES identification and classification of types of the ES carriers
bearing on ES within the frequency band of 0,5 to 18 Ghz
monitoring of activity and direction tracking of airborne ES
archiving of ELINT results for signals analysis and identification
transmission of reports and receipt of operational tasks to and from a higher level of command

simultaneous tracking of airborne objects (12 - 20 routes) with detected ES
linking ELINT information with objects tracked by the radar system
