Aircraft Nitrogen Distributor - LDA/N
The LDA/N aircraft nitrogen distributor is designed to fill an aircraft installation with gaseous nitrogen.
The LDA/N consists of two main sections:
Multicar M26 chassis
main body comprising subassemblies and units needed for the process of nitrogen compression,
storage, purification and delivery
The main body includes: bank of eight cylinders for compressed nitrogen, compressor and nitrogen system.
The compressor is driven by a hydraulic engine powered by hydrostatic drive of the Multicar.
The distributor’s wiring system operates from the 12V DC Multicar battery.
The oxygen installation enables:
filling the distributor's gas cylinders from an external source of nitrogen without using the compressor
filling the distributor's gas cylinders from an external source of nitrogen using the compressor
providing nitrogen from gas cylinders without using the compressor
providing nitrogen from gas cylinders using the compressor
pumping over nitrogen from one gas cylinders bank to another
The LDA/N is designed for air transport onboard the CASA C-295 M or other tactical transport aircraft.
It can drive on airfield taxi ways and on roads of hardened or unhardened surface.
Operating conditions:
The LDA/N distributor can be used in the open terrain under the following climatic conditions:
