KMdPMW Containerised Depot for Explosives Storage is designed for safe storage
of different explosive materials in total amount of 60 kg of TNT equivalent.
It can be also equipped with armored cabinet for storing initiators (up to 1000 pcs).
KMMW is designed for safe storage of explosives, plastic explosive materials, initiators,
UXO or misfires. The depot can be also applied for storing means for teaching purposes
(small arms ammunition, combat and training ammunition or combat simulation means).
Explosives up to 50 kg of TNT equivalent, 5 chests of small arms ammunition and
grenades as well as 1000 pcs of initiators can be stored at the same time in the depot.
KMdPMW
external container based on 1C ISO series with ventilation holes on top and bottom
of long side walls. The vents are protected by steel plates to ensure that no fragments
can left the container and steel nets to prevent access of rodents. Outer container
is equipped with technical double door closed by bolt system anti-rack and secured with
a screw with cap (with the possibility of mounting seals)
internal armor of depot is made of reinforced steel plates, joined together by welding.
Inside armored container there is one room with only one access through steel doors
which are open to the inside. Doors can be closed by certificate padlock with
the possibility of mounting seals or any other locking system required by a customer
storage modules with 40 cells with lids for storing explosive materials in maximum
equivalent of 1,5 kg of TNT per single call. Modules construction prevents from
sympathetic detonation (detonation in one cell is not transferred to the other) which
enables safe simultaneous storage of different hazardous materials in neighboring cells
Container Depots for Explosives Storage
KMMW
KMMW is a specially designed construction based on typical ISO 1C container. The depot
is reinforced by internal steel armor of thickness and composition guaranteeing its resistance
to explosion inside the container and appropriate protection level of gunfire.
Field tests have confirmed KMMW armor resistance to:
inside detonation of HEF projectile 100 mm OF-412 (1,5 kg of TNT),
outside detonation of projectile 152 mm according to STANAG 4569,
F-1 grenade placed on the roof,
firearms caliber 7,62 and B32 from 100 m distance.
Container Depot for Explosives Storage KMMW consists of:
1. Special container based on typical ISO 1C container equipped with:
single doors (2pcs)
niches for the electrical and alarm panels with cover and for keyboard box
corners (upper and lower - total 8 pcs)
technological double doors
technological holes for forks of forklifts

2. Internal armor made of steel armoured plates divided into two compartments*:
compartment 1 divided by an armored plate into 2 chambers: A chamber for storing
of explosives and A1 chamber for storing of initiators. The A1 chamber can be also
used for storing of the ammunition, hand grenades and other combat means classified
in the following classes of ADR: 1.4S and G and 1.2E
compartment 2 where there is a B chamber designed for storing of UXO and misfires.
The chamber alternatively can be applied for storing of means for teaching purposes,
flares and combat simulation means
3. Five-section set of shelves with slots preventing transfer of detonation. The slots
are marked with labels with max. quantity of explosives destined for storing inside
each of them
4. Steel cabinet for storing of initiators in the A1 chamber
5. Set of boxes filled with mix of sawdust and sand in the B chamber for storing of UXO
and misfired ammunition
6. Lighting, alarm system, ESD and lightning installations
7. Additional equipment and consumables such as
pads for leveling the depot
boxes with covers for stacking the chests filled with combat simulation means
fire-fighting equipment (fire extinguisher)
replacement lighting (flashlight)
