ZAR SOLID <strong>COLOR</strong> DECK AND SIDING STAIN TINTING FORMULATION<br />
MATCHING: CABOT SOLID DECK & SIDING <strong>COLOR</strong>S<br />
SYSTEM: <strong>BLEND</strong>-A-<strong>COLOR</strong> USING 32 INCREMENTS PER FLUID OUNCE<br />
EXPLANATION OF NOTATION: The amount of colorant to be added is listed in<br />
two columns under the container size. The first column under OZ. lists the<br />
number(s) of full fluid ounces of colorant to add. If a zero appears in this column,<br />
no full fluid ounces are added, only fractions of a fluid ounce. The second column<br />
under the heading 32, lists the number(s) of fractions, 32nds, of a fluid ounce to<br />
add. If a zero appears in this column, no fractions are added, only full fluid<br />
ounces. If you have any questions on these <strong>for</strong>mulas please contact UGL at 1-<br />
800-845-5227 be<strong>for</strong>e starting to tint.<br />
IMPORTANT: Due to the differences between the pigment used in the readymixed<br />
<strong>colors</strong> and those used in tinting systems, minor variations are possible.<br />
For this reason, store-tinted <strong>colors</strong> should NOT be used to <strong>com</strong>plete a job started<br />
with ready-mixed <strong>colors</strong> or vice versa.<br />
UGL can only control <strong>colors</strong> of their own manufacture. There<strong>for</strong>e, we CANNOT<br />
guarantee that the <strong>for</strong>mulas as indicated will be exact matches. Colors as listed<br />
represent our matches to color chips. It is advisable to PRE-DETERMINE the<br />
<strong>for</strong>mulas, as being used, will provide the proper color match. UGL cannot<br />
assume any responsibility <strong>for</strong> any changes in shade that may occur.<br />
