A. Re-opening, for application or recommendation, of the positions of REGULAR MEMBER OF THE LEGAL
EDUCATION BOARD (LEB) representing the (1) Philippine Association of Law Schools; (2) Philippine Association
of Law Professors; and (3) Integrated Bar of the Philippines, who shall be appointed for a term of five years or for the
unexpired portion of the term of the predecessor and who shall have the same salary and rank as the Members of the
Constitutional Commission (Sec. 5, R.A. No. 7662); and

Applications or recommendations for NCJR courts must be submitted not later than 8 February 2013 (Friday);
and for courts in Regions I-II, not later than 15 February 2013 (Friday) to the JBC Secretariat, 2 nd Flr. Centennial Bldg.,
Supreme Court, Padre Faura St., Manila (Tel. No. 552-9512; Fax No. 552-9598; e-mail address jbc@sc.judiciary.gov.ph
& jbc87supremecourt@gmail.com), together with newly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (JBC Form 1 -
downloadable from the JBC Website http://jbc.supremecourt.gov.ph). To facilitate the processing of applications, the
STATION CODE aligned to each court should be indicated in the application. Those who applied (or indicated in their
Personal Data Sheets their preferred courts) before these vacancies were declared open must manifest in writing before
the deadline for submission of applications whether they are still interested to pursue their application.

A complete set (not piecemeal) of the following documents must be submitted not later than 25 February 2013
in case of new applicants for courts in NCJR, and not later than 4 March 2013 in case new applicants for courts in
Regions I-II:
Proofs of age and Filipino Citizenship
Transcript of School Records
Certificate of Admission to the Bar
(with Bar rating)
Clearances from the NBI, Ombudsman,
Police from place of residence, Office of
the Bar Confidant, and employer
Clearance & Certificate of Good Standing
from the IBP National Office
Income Tax Return for the past two
(2) years
Statements of Assets, Liabilities,
and Networth for the 2011-2012 for those
in government service and for 2012 for
private practitioners
Results of medical examination and
sworn medical certificate with
impressions on such results, both
conducted/issued within 2 months
prior to the filing of application
Certificate of Compliance with MCLE
(for private practitioners only)
Previous applicants who are applying for the above-mentioned vacancies must inquire from Ms. Carolina L.
Ramos of the Secretariat (Tel. No. 552-9512) about their lacking or out of date documentary requirements that should be
filed or updated to support their latest application.
THOSE WITH INCOMPLETE REQUIREMENTS OR OUT OF DATE DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
SHALL NEITHER BE INTERVIEWED NOR CONSIDERED FOR NOMINATION.
