The Graduate Student Council (GSC) hosted <strong>the</strong> 13th annual Graduate Student Symposium on March 28, 2009.<br />

During <strong>the</strong> day-long event, 28 graduate students presented <strong>the</strong>ir research to an audience <strong>of</strong> fellow students, faculty,<br />

alumni, <strong>and</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r invited guests. The presenters came from 14 different graduate departments, <strong>and</strong> a panel<br />

<strong>of</strong> faculty <strong>and</strong> alumni judges bestowed<br />

awards for <strong>the</strong> top presentations. The<br />

alumni who served as judges were<br />

William Koster, G72, former CEO <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Neurogen Corporation, <strong>and</strong> Kyna Hamill,<br />

G06, a lecturer at Boston University’s<br />

College <strong>of</strong> Arts <strong>and</strong> Sciences.<br />
