DEVON
South Devon is home to many fantastic places to visit,
exploring the unique shops of Totnes; or visiting the
historic pier at Teignmouth to enjoying the stunning
beach at Dawlish Warren.
If you thrive on a holiday full of adventure then get
amongst the waves at Bantham, ride a mountain bike
through the wonderful woodlands in the Teign Valley
or take a coastal hike to Start Point whilst enjoying the
views and stunning landscapes of the region.
If something more sedate appeals then relax by the
harbour in Salcombe and watch the goings-on or try
out one of the many fantastic restaurants around the
area, many serving local produce, with our local fresh
seafood being a speciality.
As well as the natural appeal of the region there are
many lively festivals and events running throughout the
year and fun family attractions to keep the little ones
entertained. Hours of fun can be had simply exploring
the rock pools of the many beaches or trying your luck
at crabbing from one the historic town’s quaysides.
If you’re interested in heritage and culture then South
Devon also has lots to offer from a rare surviving
monastery, striking castles, days out on a steam train
and grand country houses with spectacular gardens.
Whether you’re visiting for a romantic weekend away,
a family summer holiday or a winter get-away with
friends the range of accommodation within South
Devon means there will be something to suit you.
From beautiful boutique hotels, to lodges in the woods
and beachside camping sites to cosy countryside
B&B’s, finding a place to relax at the end of a day
