A fine fleece with very high frequency crimp and good uniformity across the body. Carolina’s sire is a top Commissario son and her dam follows the Brutus line of very fine fawn females. Her grand dam won senior female at shows and still has a fine fleece. Carolina has a fleece that will remain fine and usable at top grade throughout her life. Carolina is currently mating to champion Aquaviva Titus and will produce excellent progeny when mated to a top fawn male. Sensation’s value is in her excellent progeny record - 4 cria, 3 male and 1 female. The female, Lightening (Lot 37) remains in our herd. The 2 older males have been sold as studs in NZ and Schiaparelli has achieved champion ribbons in shows. The third male, Tiberius (Lot 109) has definite stud potential. Sophia is a fine fleeced, dense and lustrous alpaca with a high definition crimp fleece. She is sired by Cambridge Encounter (Auzengate and Conquistador background) from Jolimont female lines. Sophia has had 1 cria so far (sired by the famous Brutus) – a solid white female named Faith (Lot 4). Sophia is pregnant to Eringa Park Saintly, due November 2012. IAR: 84529 Born: 19/12/2005 Sex: Female Colour: SW SIRE: Eringa Park Peruvian Irraquoy DAM: NZ Southern Svetlana Fleece: 6 th fleece 26.1 m; 19.3% cv; 77% cf. This fleece is dense and still displays lustre and structure. Omega continues to have a quality, usable fleece. She is dense and fine for age, with a medium frequency crimp style. Sired by Irraquoy, a son of NWA Ltd Ruffo, from a Benleigh MoonShine dam, Omega shows good conformation. Omega was well placed in shows as a youngster. Her “star” progeny is NZ Southern De Ville (Lot 48) who has gained Supreme Champion and White Colour Champion at shows in NZ. De Ville was sired by the famous Alpine Fiber’s Brutus and Omega is currently mating again to Brutus.
Lot 13 NZ Southern Grace No Reserve Lot 15 Ailahtan Chantell with female cria Reserve applies IAR: 1006466 Born: 08/01/2011 Sex: Female Colour: SW SIRE: ILR Alpine Fiber’s Butus DAM: NZ Southern Pandora Fleece: 1 st fleece 18.9 m; 22.7% cv; 97% cf. Grace is a typical Brutus offspring with fine, crimpy fibre and uniform coverage. A dense, fine and lustrous fleece with a fine high frequency crimp and uniformity across the body. Her dam Pandora won show ribbons in her youth and has produced a string of cria that have been in our show team. Maturing well, Grace will be ready for mating later this season. IAR: 60548 Born: 16/12/2002 Sex: Female Colour: Rose Grey SIRE:ILR Snowmass Grey Legend DAM: Ailahtan Candice (grey) Fleece: 9 th fleece 28.2 m; 24.7% cv; 67% cf. A magnificent fleece for the age of the female. Fine, with some density and a soft handle. Chantell has an even grey fleece with a tinge of rose colouring to it, always in great demand. She has produced regularly for us since arriving in NZ from Australia and 5 of the 6 progeny have been grey. Her last grey female cria has been exported to UK after achieving show success with Reserve Champion – grey colour. She has a grey female cria sired by a top NZ grey – Alidale Dalwhinnie – born 20/01/2012. She is currently mating to new black Australian imported stud, Lillyfield Spades are Trumps. Lot 14 Hemiccoyo Rosetta No Reserve Lot 16 NZ Southern Peach No Reserve IAR: 1006463 Born: 12/12/2010 Sex: Female Colour: SW SIRE: ILR Alpine Fiber’s Brutus DAM: NZ Southern Loretta Fleece: 1 st fleece 21 m; 18.8% cv 97% cf. The first fleece was heavily influenced by the suckling period. The fleece is currently growing at 18.2 micron post weaning. A typical Brutus offspring displaying a fine, uniform, low guard hair fleece with good density and a fine high frequency crimp style. The famous Brutus is Rosetta’s sire, and ILR Peruvian Legend and Highlander are heavily in the background of her dam, Loretta. Loretta was a show ribbon winner as a youngster. Loretta has tended to produce excellent offspring in previous matings, including males that have gone on to stud and females that have been exported to the UK. IAR: 1006459 Born: 05/12/2010 Sex: Female Colour: SLF SIRE: Halcyon Heir Apparent DAM: NZ Southern Chardonnay Fleece: 1 st fleece 22.8 m; 18% cv; 95% cf. This fleece has been affected by suckling nutrition. As a weaned alpaca, the fleece is growing at 20 micron. A dense fleece with a well defined crimp of medium frequency displaying lustre and low levels of guard hair. Sired by our imported son of Marriglen Mars (3 times Australian National Fleece Champion) from a Brutus female, it is not surprising that this female has low levels of guard hair in a dense lustrous fleece. She is growing out well and is ready for mating.
