Lowest production costs: With a perfect sheet preparation using a calender, the
technology of the varnishing unit as well as the extended flow-out the UV varnish
application is approx. 2 g/m 2 lower compared to anilox roller systems. Varnish savings
of more than 100 000 Euros per year are easily possible. There are no additional
costs for printing plates or rubber blankets.
Maximum flexibility: The COLIBRI has the shortest set-up time irrespective of
varnishing application. The varnish laydown can be adjusted within seconds. The
COLIBRI is the perfect UV-varnishing machine for small to large volume production.
