Ceremonial Mornings<br />

and Cultural Eves<br />

Throughout the 4 days of Conference, Morning and Evening<br />

hours were very special one. Ceremonies in the morning<br />

evoking the Divine energy charged the participants for the<br />

whole day and the cultural evening gave a relaxing and<br />

entertaining touch to the tired delegates.<br />

Day 3 Witnessed different Glimpses of Morning prayer Ceremonies.<br />

Combined presentation of Litvia and Lithuavia. The aim of fire<br />

ceremony was fertility and good luck. After the worshiping and<br />

prayer Prasad called Zerah made from black bread was dedicated.<br />

Next was chanting for God-Fercunas god of fire and god Dearas<br />

supreme god of Latvian tradition.<br />

Native American tradition was Represented by Patrica Macabe.<br />

It was symbolical process in which the divine powers evoked and<br />

called to protect us from evils. In this process they invited 330<br />

divine being, which have a big amount of virtues. By accepting and<br />

opting divine virtues we are equivalent with divine powers.<br />

Maya Tradition was representative by Elizabeth Aroujo. In Mayan<br />

calendar year starts from 13th march. New year starts with fire<br />

ceremony when. Ground is prepared before fire ceremony and they<br />

made a circle divided in 4 parts. These 4 parts represents 4 directions.<br />

It is representing earth as mother and fill up the circle with different natural<br />

things and cuisines which symbolize sunrise and sunset. They pray and<br />

prostrate for the enlightenment from darkness to the light.<br />

karnali tradition of Arunachal Pradesh was the last item. In this tradition they<br />

worshiped god of sky. “Mitakue oyasi” chant 12 times the lines and danced with a<br />

large group.<br />

Evoking the Spiritual Energy through Ceremonies<br />

On 5th march 2012, the sacred ceremonies started with the traditional ritual of<br />

Arunachal Pradesh in which they tied the sacred thread 'Pavitrak', also an antibiotic<br />

found only in snowy areas of Arunachal Pradesh. Next ritual was performed by<br />

people of Japan worshiping the motherland. Then the Krzystan's people perform the<br />

ceremony celebrated on 41st day after child's birth to helps the child grow sound and<br />

free from evils. Then the people belong to Jain community offered ' Namokar<br />

Mantra' to pay respect to all great souls. People from Nepal<br />

worshiped the Lord Shiva. At the end Maori tribe performed the<br />

welcome ritual and gave the invitation to all the spectators<br />

to visit their country.<br />

Day 2 : On 6 march 2012, the ceremony started with<br />

the ‘AGNIHOTRA' by Hindu community from<br />

Maharastra. Next the priest from Vietnam called the<br />

Prayer to invite the God and prayed to take away<br />

all the negative forces. People from Hungary<br />

dedicated a song to nature in which they mention<br />

white hawk- symbolizing the prayer to sky and<br />

bring down the messages of almighty. Then the<br />

people of Latvia prayed and distributed the cake.<br />

The ceremony filled the lot of enthusiasm in the<br />

spectators and gave the message of unification to<br />

all the people of universe.<br />

On Day 3 Program started with Latvian group. They performed song and dance<br />

in their own culture. S.D Young wolf from America told a short story on<br />

“Nourishing the balance of Universe”. Katharina from New Zealand performed a<br />

song in respect of those indigenous people from Maori tradition who struggled<br />

and sacrificed their life to serve their own culture. Leila from America through<br />

her poems conveyed the message that according to god we are one, because<br />

of our selfish nature we have created a boundary. Delegates from Arunachal<br />

Pradesh performed Adi dance which is done in Arunachal Pradesh for the<br />

worship of new crops. Mani Desai group from Nepal performed their cultural<br />

dance. Latvia group with DSVV gave a combined performance on Gayatri<br />

Mantra Fusion dance. Bali’s group performed a prayer for the happiness of<br />

whole world. Laxmi from Indonesia performed a dance inspired by RAMAYANA.<br />

Ricka Hika from Japan read a letter of her grandmother in Japanese language.<br />

Last but not least Norac Abdrakh’s wonderful on the tone of instrumental music<br />

was appreciated by all<br />

members.<br />
