The database used in this study now contains:- Appendix 1: The Database ‣ The complete roll as at January 2002 – 5 229 538 records; ‣ The roll for four constituencies, as used in the 2002 presidential elections – 123 784 records; ‣ The roll for 21 constituencies, as used in the 2005 general elections – 539 154 records. ‣ The roll for 12 constituencies (then 10% of the whole), as recovered from the voting residue of the 2002 presidential elections – 27 529 records. ‣ The roll for all 210 constituencies from the 2008 harmonised elections – 5,727,902 records. (The number of constituencies was increased from 120 to 210 at these elections and the birth dates of voters were provided for the first time on the roll); and ‣ The roll for all 210 constituencies as at October 2010. In addition, the database contains digital information from the full 2008 Delimitation Report, as used in the 2008 harmonised elections. The complete database thus has over 17 million records. However, statistics regarding the number of “new” and “removed” voters are approximate figures, based on the best information available.
