As the director of the Centre for China Financial Research (CCFR), he co-ordinates and supervises several research projects on China’s stock market and banking. His current research involves the study of corporate governance in China’s listed companies, privatization of China’s SOEs, banking reform in China and futures markets. He has been ranked as one of the top 500 economists in the world. 13
