Judge <strong>Wall</strong> was born <strong>in</strong> Milwaukee, Wiscons<strong>in</strong>, and grew up<br />
<strong>in</strong> sou<strong>the</strong>astern Wiscons<strong>in</strong>. He graduated from <strong>the</strong><br />
University of Texas <strong>in</strong> 1982 with a bachelor's degree <strong>in</strong><br />
journalism and worked <strong>in</strong> radio and television broadcast<strong>in</strong>g<br />
<strong>in</strong> Texas and Louisiana before enroll<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> law school.<br />
In 1986 he graduated from <strong>the</strong> Marquette University Law<br />
School <strong>in</strong> Milwaukee <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> top third of his class. That same<br />
year he moved to <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> and passed <strong>the</strong> Nevada Bar<br />
Exam. He worked for a prom<strong>in</strong>ent civil litigation firm until<br />
enter<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> crim<strong>in</strong>al justice system as a Deputy Public<br />
Defender <strong>in</strong> 1987.<br />
Over <strong>the</strong> past 16 years, Judge <strong>Wall</strong> has worked at <strong>the</strong> highest<br />
levels of <strong>the</strong> crim<strong>in</strong>al justice system, as both a prosecutor and<br />
a defense attorney. He also has worked for several years <strong>in</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> area of civil litigation with two separate prom<strong>in</strong>ent<br />
firms.<br />
He was hired by <strong>the</strong> <strong>Clark</strong> <strong>County</strong> District Attorney's Office<br />
<strong>in</strong> 1996 and become a Chief Deputy District Attorney. From<br />
1997 to 2001, he was a member of <strong>the</strong> elite Major Violators<br />
Unit <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> District Attorney's Office, which prosecutes<br />
primarily homicide and o<strong>the</strong>r high profile cases. Dur<strong>in</strong>g that<br />
time, he teamed with District Attorney <strong>David</strong> Roger <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
successful prosecution of Richard Tabish and Sandra<br />
Murphy for <strong>the</strong> murder of Ted B<strong>in</strong>ion.<br />

Judge <strong>Wall</strong> is active <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> community, as a member of <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> Founders Club and <strong>the</strong> Chamber of Commerce<br />
Leadership <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> program. He also volunteers as a<br />
radio commentator for <strong>the</strong> UNLV Lady Rebels basketball<br />
program.
