Proposed Guidelines & Payout<br />

WHAT IS THE TQHA BARREL STALLION INCENTIVE?<br />

1. It is an Incentive for <strong>Texas</strong> stallions and their offspring whose breedings were sold through the <strong>Texas</strong><br />

<strong>Quarter</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> <strong>Association</strong> (TQHA) Barrel Stallion auction or have paid a participation fee.<br />

2. The TQHA Barrel Stallion Incentive will be paid during the JBQH Futurity & Elite Extravaganza<br />

November 14-17, 2013 in Waco, TX for <strong>Texas</strong> based stallions:<br />

Futurity Incentive paid to the Top 3 fastest eligible horses in the Qualifying Round of the JBQH<br />

Futurity, Thursday night, November 14, 2013<br />

Open Incentive will be Top 2 fastest eligible horses in Elite Main Race 1 occurring on Friday<br />

night, November 15, 2013 and Saturday morning, November 16, 2013, with the Elite<br />

Extravaganza;<br />

Stallion Incentive will be paid out to the Sires of the Futurity & Open Incentive winners.<br />

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE INCENTIVE?<br />

1. The participating horses must be sired by an eligible sire that either sold a fee through the 2013<br />

TQHA Barrel Stallion Auction or paid the minimum fee.<br />

2. The participating Futurity horses must be entered and compete in the 2013 JBQH Futurity and be<br />

eligible according to their terms & conditions.<br />

3. The participating Open horses must be entered and compete in the 2013 Elite Main Race 1 and be<br />

eligible according to their terms & conditions. *The Open Incentive will be only paid to horses not<br />

entered in the 2013 JBQH Futurity.<br />

4. Eligible sires must have either sold a fee through the 2013 TQHA Barrel Stallion Auction or paid the<br />

minimum fee.<br />

5. Both rider and owner of the participating horse must be current TQHA members before they compete.<br />

TQHA memberships will be available online at www.tqha.com prior to the event and will also be<br />

available at the event, during the Futurity Check-In, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 5pm, and at<br />

the Elite Office through Friday, November 15, 2013 until the start of the Elite Main Race-Section 1 at<br />

6 pm.<br />

HOW DO I ENTER?<br />

1. Futurity Incentive, use JB <strong>Quarter</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> Futurity entry form. Eligibility will be checked at the<br />

Futurity Check-In and TQHA memberships will be available at that time. Participants are only<br />

responsible for the owner and rider having a TQHA membership (i.e. no entry fee)<br />

2. Open Incentive will be paid from the fastest 2 runs from the Elite Main Race 1 after the race. The<br />

participants must use their horses registered name so eligibility can be checked. Participants are<br />

responsible for the owner and rider being TQHA members. (i.e. no entry fee). (see how to attain<br />

TQHA membership above)<br />

Phantom Menace, Red Oak Special, Shawne Bug Leo, Stoli My Heart, Terribly Wicked, Trippin On<br />

Fame, View Me Flying, Yellow Hammer Six<br />
