dark blue cloth binding, square and tight. Author’s signature
embossed in gold on front cover, gold lettering on spine. The
pages are clean. Top edge is pale blue with some spotting. Gift
inscription (1968) on first free end paper. Interesting twopage
note (1983) tucked inside front cover refers to
“autographed copy” and says, “Many old friends from
Sausalito….” Autograph appears on first page before title, and
there is an inch-long tear at the bottom, near the binding.
Book in Good+ condition. Dust jacket crimped at top and bottom
with several small tears. Tape repairs or reinforcement on
