FELT <strong>VIRTUE</strong> SERIES<br />
❚ 2007 marks a turning point in full suspension technology, and we<br />
believe our innovative Virtue design is destined to hold a unique place<br />
in bicycle history. Not only is the all-new Virtue series the first application<br />
to utilize our revolutionary and patented Equilink suspension technology,<br />
but it also delivers an unbeatable combination of performance traits<br />

THE CHALLENGE<br />
❚ Nearly three years ago, when our engineering team first set out to<br />
design our dream bike, we knew exactly what riders were searching<br />
for: The one bike that has it all…<br />
*Lightweight, efficient and fast enough to win races on.<br />
*Seemingly endless travel<br />
*Durable enough to handle the rigors of every day trail abuse.<br />
*Remains fluid and active over the smallest bumps - without<br />
sacrificing any measure of efficiency.<br />
*Predictable and consistent throughout the range of travel and<br />
independent of gear selection.<br />
*No bob, no pedal kickback, easy set-up, and maximum<br />
tune-ability.<br />
And of course, they wanted all of these qualities to be wrapped up in<br />
a design that is easy to understand and simple to service.<br />
THE SOLUTION<br />
❚ With well over two years of extensive research, development, testing<br />
and evaluation, the <strong>Felt</strong> engineering team has now proven it can indeed<br />
deliver the entire package. And they have done so in the form of all-new<br />
Virtue, featuring <strong>Felt</strong>-exclusive Equilink technology.<br />

PERFORMANCE, GEOMETRY AND THE RIDE<br />
❚ All four Virtue models are exceptionally lightweight considering the generous 5 inches (130mm) of travel they deliver, not to mention their<br />
ability to handle day-to-day all-mountain abuse. However, there are a few key differences within the model lineup. The Virtue 1 & 2 feature<br />
ultra-lightweight front triangles, race-oriented geometry, and longer top tubes. The Virtue 3 & 4 have larger, stiffer down tubes and seat tubes,<br />
combined with slightly shorter top tube lengths to achieve more of an everyday trail-riding demeanor. Whether you need a high performance<br />
race machine or a do-all trail bike, there is a model within the Virtue lineup that meets your need.<br />
