Light Combat Aircraft (LCA)<br />
LCA Tejas was inducted into Air Force in the presence<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Raksha Mantri Shri Manohar Parrikar.<br />
The LCA programme witnessed another milestone<br />
when Tejas trainer PV6, the two seater version <strong>of</strong><br />
Tejas LCA for Air Force, took its first flight. PV6 also<br />
has the capability to deliver all ‘air-to-air’ and ‘air-toground’<br />
weapons.<br />

CAPABILITY ENHANCEMENT<br />
In another landmark event, LCA (Navy) Prototype 1<br />
(NP1), the first indigenously designed and developed<br />
combat aircraft designed to operate from the decks <strong>of</strong><br />
aircraft carriers, took-<strong>of</strong>f majestically from a Ski-Jump<br />
facility.<br />
