Introduction:
Royan International Research Award was founded
by late director of Royan Institute; Dr. Saeid
Kazemi Ashtiyani with the aim of
encouraging the researchers and
appreciation of their efforts. This
annual award is a prize given to five
prominent Research Projects in the
field of Reproductive Biomedicine,
Stem Cell Biology and Technology
and other related subjects.
The winners will be invited to take
part in the Award Ceremony on the
designated day so as to be granted
their awards. Each winner will be
rewarded for a certificate, the symbol
of Royan Award and the amount of
$5000. It is necessary for winners
to present their works in Royan
International Twin Congress beside the Award
Ceremony.
Research Projects:
Research projects can lead to several papers or maybe
only one paper. Additional papers should be relevant
to the main project and you have to be one of the
authors of each paper. Unrelated articles will be ignored
so please do not attach any unrelated papers.
The Scope of Subjects:
The research topics may fall within the following scope:
1- Reproductive Biomedicine: Male & Female
infertility, Embryology, Reproductive Endocrinology,
Infertility physiology and Immunology, Reproduction
Biology and Reproductive Health.
2- Stem cell biology and technology: Biology,
Differentiation and Preservation, Signaling, Niche,
Plasticity, Transplantation and Therapy, Gene therapy
and Manipulation and Cancer Stem Cells.
There is not limitation for all participants, if they want
participate in Award, Congress or both sections with
more titles
Online Submission:
All research projects should be submitted online via the
award’s homepage. First it is needed to register and
get a username and password by which you can login
to this site and submit your project(s) in the award or
abstract(s) in the congress. (Papers and projects sent
by email, post or fax or after submission deadline will

Dear Colleagues,
Following nine successful Royan International Congresses,
tenth congress will be held on September 23-25, 2009 in
Tehran, Iran. During the past congresses we observed
participation of thousands of specialists, scientists,
researchers and students from all around the world in a
friendly atmosphere to exchange the knowledge and
experiences. Their warm encouragements plus their
brilliant comments and
suggestions led us to increase
in scientific level and better
organization of the congress.
Although the congress
name is Royan, but belongs
to all scientists and doctors
from all around the world
working in fields of reproduction and stem cells, specially
Iranian scientists and prominent professors from various
universities, research centers and clinics who mostly are
pioneers in the congress fields, and without their support
we could not hold it properly.
Considering all the above
said experiences for past
one decade, I believe in
better incoming congress
with higher scientific level.
Iran is an ancient country
full of unique historical
monuments and astonishing
natural landscapes. International guests have the opportunity
to get familiar with this ancient culture along with their
scientific work. There will be an interesting social program
in this regard.
I must also thank my colleagues in Royan Institute for their
great effort especially Dr. Ashraf Moini, with her science
and knowledge and great experiences for accepting the
chair of this congress, and welcome you all in advance to
this high level scientific congress.
