I want <strong>to</strong> thank the team of <strong>Journey</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Damascus</strong><br />
106, their families, my family and God almighty for<br />
this weekend. As every Lay Direc<strong>to</strong>r has probably<br />
found, the devil tries hard <strong>to</strong> derail you and force<br />
you <strong>to</strong> lose focus.<br />
I like many found the devil doing all he could <strong>to</strong> do<br />
that from places I would never have expected. But<br />
by the grace of God this was the "best journey ever".<br />
I truly learned as Matthew: 7:7 says:<br />
"Ask and it shall be given <strong>to</strong> you, seek and<br />
ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened un<strong>to</strong> you.<br />
"<br />
The Lord does work in mysterious ways and<br />
through this weekend I continue <strong>to</strong> be amazed at his<br />
mystery. I am very blessed in so many ways but<br />
certainly none more than my wife Ashley and sons<br />
Joshua and Gabriel.<br />
Their sacrifice of our family time while preparing<br />
for this journey was <strong>to</strong>ugh but they knew how<br />
important this was <strong>to</strong> me and for God and for the<br />
pilgrims and team of JTD 106.<br />
God Bless you all for your love and prayers. They<br />
were felt!<br />
