NO medications will be sent from <strong>PA</strong>LCS Health Services for field trips; it is the parents’<br />
responsibility to provide any medication their child may need during a field trip<br />
accompanied by a completed Medication Authorization Form.<br />
Please contact the school nurse with any questions regarding health requirements or the<br />
medication policy.<br />

<strong>Student</strong> Profile Policy<br />
Guidelines for suitable profile pictures:<br />
At <strong>PA</strong>LCS, students are able to upload their picture or a picture that represents their interests<br />
into the Moodle platform. <strong>PA</strong>LCS is responsible to maintain a positive learning environment<br />
and to minimize the opportunity for student distraction and/or disruption.<br />
<strong>PA</strong>LCS encourages students to expresses themselves by posting a picture that best represents<br />
them. Posted pictures must adhere to the following guidelines:<br />
1. Shirts with written or picture references to drugs, alcohol, sex, tobacco products, or<br />
suicide are unacceptable. This includes clothing with vulgar language, double<br />
meanings, or disrespectful references to individuals, groups of individuals, religion,<br />
race, or ethnic origin.<br />
2. Any indecent clothing is unacceptable. Indecent clothing is defined as half or cut off<br />
shirts, mesh or see through clothing, any clothing that exposes bare midriff on any<br />
student, and blouses or shirts that are cut low in such manner as to inappropriately<br />
expose a student’s chest.<br />
3. Pictures of guns or any other pictures that depict violent content are unacceptable.<br />
4. Pictures of students using any obscene gestures are unacceptable.<br />
<strong>PA</strong>LCS reserves the right to protect and remove any content that does not adhere to these<br />
guidelines.<br />
Consequence for Non –Compliance:<br />
1 st Offense – The student will be contacted by a school administrator, and the picture will be<br />
removed. The student will have another chance to upload another picture.<br />
2 nd Offense – The student will be contacted by a school administrator, the picture will be<br />
removed, and the student will lose the ability to upload pictures to the profile.<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Record Retention Policy<br />
The <strong>Student</strong> Record Retention Policy is on file at the main offices of <strong>PA</strong> <strong>Leadership</strong> <strong>Charter</strong><br />
