B <strong>Grade</strong> Panel Cosmetics<br />

The minor cosmetic imperfections in B-<strong>Grade</strong> panels:<br />

• Have no influence on product performance, reliability or lifetime<br />

• Are not visible when the panel is viewed from several meters away<br />

• Can involve misalignment in cell strings which may be visible from more<br />

than several meters away<br />

• Are visually inspected multiple times in the factory to ensure e correct<br />

categorization and separation from A-grade panels<br />

Typical Imperfections<br />

• Misaligned, missing or broken white print-lines on the cell surface<br />

• Small debris or blemishes under the glass<br />

• Small chips out of the cell edges<br />

• Minor variations in cell color and “spots”<br />

• Small cell breaks at the edges<br />

• Minor misalignment between cells and/or junction box location<br />

• Narrow “white space” around the perimeter between the cells and frame<br />

• Holes or scratches in the back-skin ki patched with a protective ti sealant<br />

• Small scratches or discolorations on the frame<br />
