cowboy cash, choose Black Jack or Craps, and the
dealers will hand you chips at the table.
Play hard, Bet big, Have fun!
At the end of your evening, your chips may be
exchanged for raffle tickets. Your winnings
determine how many tickets you receive.
Apply your tickets toward one or all of

While enjoying yourself at The Saloon,
please keep the following in mind:
• Bids must be made in the increments indicated on
the bid sheets. Bids not adhering to the specified
increment are considered VOID and not accepted.
• Packages may be paid for and collected only after
the conclusion of bidding in both the live and silent
auctions.
• If payment is remitted on the night of the auction,
prizes may be claimed and taken home with you.
• Payment may be made via cash, personal check or
credit card (American Express, Master Card, Visa, or
Discover).
• If you have elected our Express Checkout Option,
please take your items home with you the night of
the Auction. Please be patient during the checkout
process as our Parent Volunteers will assist
you as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you
prefer, you may pick-up your items on Monday,
March 28, or as soon as possible thereafter. Kindly
pick-up all items no later than Friday, April 1, 2011.
• P.S. 158 warrants neither the quality nor the value
of the items and services auctioned.
• It is recommended that you use gift certificates as
soon as possible. Most gift certificates have expiration
dates.
• Taxes, gratuities and liquor are not included in the
value of a restaurant gift certificate unless otherwise
stated.
• Payments made in excess of the fair market value of
each auction package qualify as charitable contributions,
tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Monies spent for raffles are not tax-deductible.
• Blackout dates apply and many have expiration

Welcome to THE GOLD RUSH!
As co-chairs, we have been fortunate to work with an amazing group of people. Auction committee members have
dedicated their time and efforts to make this night a success. Thank you for your creativity, dedication and vibrancy.
You have worked so hard to make this night financially successful and bring the Wild West to P.S. 158.
The Spring Benefit is the primary way that the PA raises funds. This year’s benefit takes on added significance
because government budget cuts have reduced educational funding. Despite these cuts, the talented and dedicated
teachers and administrators that we are so fortunate to have at P.S. 158 continue to invest their hearts and souls into
delivering a wonderful education to our children. Your generosity tonight will help close some of the gaps created by
the cuts. The funds raised will be used to procure necessary supplies, technology, and services that are necessary for
our teachers and administrators to continue to deliver a top notch education to our children.

Karyn Petrone Binninger, a true ambassador of the
P.S. 158 Spring Benefits. Year after year, Karyn
volunteers hours upon hours of her time to make
sure the auction runs smoothly and is a profitable
event. In many ways, she is the backroom brain
behind the auction, setting up systems, making sure
no detail has been forgotten, spending auction night
reconciling packages and organizing winning lots.
This often means that she is unable to experience and
enjoy this wonderful event that she works so hard to
help put together. Karyn selflessly has given P.S. 158
a priceless donation for the past 6 years … herself.
While we wish you and your family the best as you
move on to Middle School, P.S. 158 and the Parents
Association will be losing our most cherished golden
nugget. You will be dearly missed!
Wally Garcia, volunteer extraordinaire. It takes a
truly special person to volunteer so much of their
time and energy to a school, especially when her children
no longer attend P.S. 158 anymore. Wally does
it because she loves our children and the community.
She strongly believes that the children deserve the
best education and opportunities possible. Let’s all
lift-up our cowboy hats to her with thanks for dedicating
her heart and soul to P.S. 158. We’ve struck
